TRANSLIT Pro’s popular Community Interpreting Training Programme has just received CPD Certification.
In March 2021, TRANSLIT became a member of the CPD Certification Service (UK) and has since been working to bring its training webinars and courses into compliance with the globally accepted continuing professional development principles.
And the first of TRANSLIT’s courses, Community Interpreting Training Programme, has just received the CPD Certification. This six-hour three-module online programme is now fully accredited which means that the participants can receive official CPD points when they train with TRANSLIT Pro.

TRANSLIT are also actively working on getting their next course accredited already. CPD accreditation confirms the high standard of the training offered, and gives the participant an opportunity to stand out in the marketplace, and to fulfil their professional obligations regarding continuous professional development.
TRANSLIT is expecting to have the other courses CPD certified in the near future, and Training Development Manager, Svetlana O’Farrell has welcomed the latest boost.
“It’s another step in the right direction for TRANSLIT Pro,” said Ms O’Farrell.
“We set up this training division just last year and it’s already a huge success.
“But we don’t want to stop here and we will continue to improve in any way we can, which includes further CPD accreditation.
“Our interpreters are so important to us, and TRANSLIT’s conference next month is another big opportunity for them to learn and grow.”
‘Interpreting Insights’ takes place virtually on 26 May and the registrations have almost reached 600 already, just two weeks after going live on Eventbrite.
And some well-known names from the interpreting field have already been confirmed to speak online that day. Here are some examples of who to expect:
Claudia Brauer, is a highly regarded author of language-neutral cutting-edge training programmes for interpreters and translators;
Muhamed Durmic, is a senior conference interpreter, remote interpreting expert and a certified court interpreter with over 25 years’ experience in the industry;
Hans Verrept, is the Head of the intercultural mediation and policy support unit of the Belgium Federal Public Service for Health;
Natalia Fedorenkova, is a conference interpreter and RSI expert with many years of experience in various industries. She is a regular speaker at international interpreting conferences.
