8th of March – World Women’s Day

Dear readers!

Here is a reminder about another International celebration in the world – WOMAN’S DAY!

8th of March – International Women’s Day – World Day for Women, which marked the achievements of women in the political, economic and social fields, celebrates the past, present and future of women of a planet.
In some countries, this day is considered to be a National Public Holliday.

A little bit from the history of this day:
In 1910, in Copenhagen held the 2nd International Conference of working women. The leader of the women’s group of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Clara Zetkin proposed the idea of celebrating International Women’s Day. It suggested that the International Women’s Day is celebrated every year in every country in the same day. The purpose of this holiday Clara Zetkin called the struggle of women for their rights.

On the 8th of March, women from all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, have the opportunity to come together and remember the tradition that represents at least a few decades of struggle for equality, justice, peace and development.

In ancient Greece, for the sake of ending the war, Lysistrata organized a sexual strike against men; during the French Revolution, Parisian women for “liberty, equality and fraternity”, organized a march on Versailles to demand women’s suffrage.

International Women’s Day – a celebration of all women as makers of history. It is not surprising that women have become pioneers in many areas. The women in general- is a wonderful, lovely and gentle creatures that maintain the heat of the hearth, create a comfort in the home, take care of the beloved husband and, most importantly, give new life to this world – to bear and raise children.

Yes, women can be capricious and harmful angry, but, dear man, would you not be lonely and bored without them?

Dear ladies, company TRANSLIT would like to join to all congratulations to you in this wonderful Day.
